Sometimes watching sport on your lonesome in your living room just doesn’t cut it.

You need an atmosphere to fuel the sporting tension, to raise the highs and council the lows. The Alma has fashioned just such an atmosphere at the ever-popular sport friendly pub. You can be sure that all major sports events will be shown on the 3 big screens, so if you’re a Rugby fan then this is the place to catch all of the upcomming World Cup starting in September, plus Dave is generously giving free breakfasts away if you arrive before half time at all Englands Group B games!
Plus, if you’re more of a football fan, then look out for the Premier League games shown in 3D which is now available at The Alma.

Curry night is every Tuesday with a choice of 6 curries for only £5 when purchased with any drink.
Wednesday night is now 'The Songsmith Sessions' with Ezio, a song writers open mic night which is recorded each week with the best bits aired on Ezio's show on DAB Affinity Radio each Sunday night at 10.00pm
Thursday night is the ever popular Quiz Night with cash and drink prizes, excellent entertainment value at £1 entry. NEW £100 Cash Prize!
On Saturdays not only do we cater for sport, we also occasionaly showcase a variety of bands which are always free entry, so why not pop in for a listen.
