How to find The Alma, Cambridge

The Alma is situated in Russell Court,
close to the centre of Cambridge.

From the South

If you are travelling from the South you will most likely travel towards central Cambridge on either Hills Road or Trumpington Road. Both of these roads have a turning into Bateman Street. Once on Bateman Street you need to turn into Panton Street and then look for Russell Court on your right.

From the West

If you are travelling from the West you should aim to cross the Cam via the Fen Causeway which will lead you to a mini-roundabout at the junction with Trumpington Road, where you can either turn right and the then left into Bateman Street, and Panton Street as above, or turn left and immediately right at the next mini-roundabout into Lensfield Road, and then right into Panton Street which leads to Russell Court.

From the East

Travelling form the East you will probably need to head for East Road which leads into Gonville Place along side Parker's Piece. If you end up in the right hand lane you should go straight on into Lensfield Road, and then turn left into Panton Street. If you end up in the left hand lane, you might be able to then take a right turn into Coronation Street, Norwich Street, or Bateman Street - depending on the amount of traffic.

The final approach to Panton Street and Russell Court is either via Lensfield Road or Hills Road, as described above.

From the North

If you are travelling by car, most routes from the North will take you into central Cambridge from the West or the East.
